Lao Man Er is located in Bulang Mountain, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. It is the oldest tea village in the Bulang Mountain region, with a history of over 1,400 years. Lao Man’e tea is divided into bitter and sweet varieties, making it a renowned, high-quality tea region among tea enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

This tea is crafted from pure leaves of the Lao Man Er bitter tea variety, harvested from Gushu approximately 400 years old at an elevation of around 1,600 meters. The initial taste is as bitter as Coptis, but the sweetness quickly follows, flowing like a spring, with a powerful throat sensation that lingers. The distinctive characteristic of this top-grade Gushu tea, where bitterness transforms, is fully expressed in Lao Man er tea.
